Life Story / Obituary
Lanny William Robinson, Aged 76, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018. He was born on January 5,1942, in Ann Arbor, MI, to Harold and Hazel Robinson. He was a veteran who served in the Army and Air Force from 1962-1966. Lanny married Mary Jo Snarski on January 12, 1968, in Taylor, MI. They had three children: Andrea, Aron and Angela.
Lanny Robinson is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mary Jo. Together, the two of them crated a life full of love and beauty. Their backyard wildlife sanctuary, known as "Little Robinson Park" and registered by the National Wildlife Federation, was the result of hard work together over many decades. Family and friends gathered there to enjoy the outdoors over the years, and Lanny was able to watch Tustyn and Daltyn, his handsome grandsons, and Raegyn, his lovely granddaughter, grow up among the flowers during the summers of their childhood.
Lanny was a gentle soul, remembered fondly by those who knew him. He had a quiet sense of humor and an unmistakable twinkle in his eye when he teased you. He loved to bake cookies, usually at night. Lanny often worked in the garage on one of his vintage car projects, and he would always be sure to smile and say hi to the neighbor kids who were playing outside.
As a husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Lanny Robinson will be remembered as a man who could do it all.
