Ms. Kay Elaine Smack, age 74, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 30, 1942 to Norris & Helen (Greb) Zimmerman and graduated from Muskegon High School and Western Michigan University with her degree in Education. Ms. Smack had been a teacher for Muskegon Public Schools teaching 1st and 2nd grades for over 30 years until retiring. Kay was a life time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, an avid Big Red Fan and long time Big Red season ticket holder.

SURVIVORS

Grandson, Mitchell Muskovin of Muskegon; granddaughter, Jordyn Muskovin of Muskegon; brother, Robert (Sharon) Zimmerman of IN; Lorrie (John) Ziemba of Jenison; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Muskovin in 2012.

SERVICE

Monday, October 2, 2017, 1:00 pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert J. Conradt officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

VISITATION

Sunday, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
