Mrs. Shirley Mae Sutton, age 79, went to her heavenly home on July 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. She experienced a very short period of lung cancer, and was blessed by the brevity. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 8, 1936 to Jesse & Bettina (Thayer) Rinehart and married William Sutton on March 24, 1962. Mrs. Sutton had been employed at Grand Haven Gasket for 13 years until retiring. Shirley was a member of Harlem Reformed Church and an active volunteer in their food distribution program. She enjoyed winters in Florida, visiting with family and friends, flower gardening, word puzzles, music concerts and watching classic TV shows.
