Robert S. "Bob" Pawlak, age 83, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 25, 1932 to Stanley & Nellie (Filonow) Pawlak and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Beverly Breitfield on January 5, 1952. Robert worked through the Carpenter's Union Local 0100 for 40 plus years. Bob was a member of VFW Don Rea Post #8846 and loved fishing and singing. He built the house that he and his family lived in for 50 years. He will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS

Daughters, Sue (Chuck) Spindler, Pat (Rod) Runyan; son, Robert (Paula) Pawlak Jr.; granddaughters, Janna Veenstra, Alissa Veenstra, Heather Runyan, Erica Runyan, Andrea Pawlak; great grandson, Carter Runyan; siblings, Rich Pawlak, Pat Smith, Marianne Sullivan & Dave Pawlak; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly.

SERVICE

Wednesday, September 14, 2016, 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
