Mr. Lawrence Ray Peterson Sr., age 84, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 10, 1932 to Leo & Hazel (Abair) Peterson and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He married the former Lois Koral on January 9, 1954. Mr. Peterson had been employed as a Truck Driver for A & C Carrier for 35 years until retiring. Lawrence enjoyed raising and showing rabbits, horses and beagles and also had many other animals too. He also loved gardening, hunting & fishing.

SURVIVORS

Sons, Lawrence "Pete" (Donna) Peterson Jr. of Fruitport, James (Sherrie) Peterson of Norton Shores, Bradley (Linda) Peterson of GA; daughter, Shelly Munson of Muskegon; grandchildren, Matt, Renee, Paige, Stephanie, Noah, Monica & Bradley; great grandchildren, Kailee, Case, Carter, Macy, Brady, Ellie, Pierce & Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois in 2005; daughter, Linda; great granddaughter, Abigail and his brothers.

SERVICE

Friday, October 7, 2016, 11:00 am at Clock's Sunset Celebrations with Pastor Stephen Abbott officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene.

VISITATION

Thursday, 5:00-8:00 pm at Clock's Sunset Celebrations.
