Grahl E. Harvey age 90 of Muskegon died Friday, April 7, 2017 at Brookhaven Medical Facility. He was born July 31, 1926 in Muskegon, MI to the late Conrad and Emilie (Nahragang) Stark. As an infant he was adopted by the late George and Abigail (Benjan) Harvey and later raised by George and Lillian (Williams) Harvey. He married Betty D. (Sissel) Harvey on April 24, 1948. Grahl is a WWII veteran, enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and just tinkering!

SURVIVORS

Grahl is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty. His children: Mary Lou (Daniel) Senf of Grand Chute, WI and Gary (Susan) Harvey of Marne, MI. His grandchildren: Eric (Christy) Senf of Oakdale, MN; Kerry O’Brien of Appleton, WI; Kathleen (Eric) Moreno of Rockwall, TX; Julie (Paul) Roth of Chicago, IL; Mike (Carissa) Harvey of Brohman, MI; and Kristen Harvey of St. Petersburg, FL; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Evelyn (Harvey) Zacharias of Muskegon, MI. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his natural brothers and sisters: Charles (Lillian) Stark, Emily (Cliff) Banning, Louise (Willis) Tandy, Joseph (Willemena) Stark, Lillian (Clarence) Ritsema, Edna (Gerald) Hage, and from his adopted family: George (Pam) Harvey and Beryl (Lloyd) Morbeck.

SERVICE

Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at the Clock Chapel – Muskegon with Rev. Jerry DePoy officiating. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the Muskegon Rescue Mission or Michigan D.A.V.
