Mrs. Deborah Ann Johnson Harris, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 14, 1960 to Clara Mae Johnson & Ray Morris. Deborah grew up in Muskegon Heights and attended Muskegon Heights Public Schools. She graduated in 1978 and had been a cheerleader while in High School. She gave birth to her son Willie and unfortunately he died at the age of 5, in 1981. Deborah worked at the Gerber factory in Fremont for a short time before attending Baker College where she became a Certified Nurses Assistant and then worked at a nursing home in Marne, Michigan for many years. She met Walter Harris during the 1980’s and after dating for several years they were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 14, 1996. Deborah’s smile could light up a room and she was always the life of a party. She had a very caring side and made sure to check on friends when they were sick or visit folks at the nursing home. Deborah will surely be missed by all who knew her.
